Position: Document Review Specialist
Total Access Urgent Care is seeking a detail-oriented Document Review Specialist to join our this role you will be responsible for reviewing and processing medical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure all documents meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in documentation
- Maintain and update electronic health records systems with the latest information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to address any documentation concerns
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies when handling sensitive information
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to document review processes
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Health Information Management or related field
- Proven experience in medical document review preferably in an urgent care or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or discrepancies
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Desired Experience:
- Certification in Health Information Management (RHIT) or related field
- Experience working with a diverse range of medical documents and records
- Must be located in USA
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $105000 - $120000 per year
