The GE Aerospace Military Officer Leadership Program Digital Technology division is a unique opportunity for top Military Officer talent looking to jump start their careers in Digital Technology. Qualified candidates are those who excelled in their military careers and are looking for their next opportunity. Those accepted will be placed in a 2-year rotational program within one of our Digital Technology functional roles.Job Description
Program Rotations are geographically focused in the Cincinnati (Evendale West Chester) OH area. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in three diverse functional areas of our Digital Technology division within their 8-month rotational assignments.
Rotational assignments may include:
- Software Engineering
- Cybersecurity Capabilities
- Technical Product Management
- Project/Program Management
- Data Science / AI Capabilities
- Enterprise Digital Workplace Products
- Digital Technology Operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Commissioned U.S. Military Officer with a minimum 5 years of service completed by start date up to a maximum 12 years with an Honorable Discharge upon completion of Military obligations.
- Bachelors degree from accredited University
- Minimum of 4 years of active-duty status in the last 5 years of service
- Maximum of 2 years of separation from active duty; exceptions available for extenuating circumstances (Active Reserve Duty Graduate Degree Pursuit)
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM related field of study (e.g. Computer Science Cybersecurity Software Engineering Data Science etc)
- 5 - 12 years of Officer Military Service preferred
- Humble: respectful receptive agile eager to learn
- Transparent: shares critical information speaks with candorcontributesconstructively
- Problem solver: analytical-minded challenges existing processes critical thinker
- Focused: quick learner strategically prioritizes work committed
- Leadership ability: strong communicator decision-maker collaborative

- Completion of an advanced military training course (I.E. Flight School Special Forces Nuclear Power School etc.)
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident U.S. Citizen have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e. a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
