Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator to join our Sarasota FL office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients ensuring accurate appointment scheduling and a positive first impression of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 6:00pm
- Manage patient scheduling confirmations reschedules and cancellations
- Handle incoming calls and electronic scheduling requests with a patient-focused approach
- Verify patient information and appointment requirements
- Provide clear instructions on appointment prep arrival times and office policies
- Monitor cancellations waitlists and open slots to optimize provider availability
- Communicate schedule changes and urgent needs to clinical and admin teams
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in the HER
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow established workflows and customer service standards
- Assist with routine patient inquiries and escalate concerns as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR systems
- Experience in a multi-provider outpatient medical practice (Preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification (Preferred)

- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
