Job Summary

JOB TITLE: IT Help Desk Analyst
LOCATION: Denton TX
PAY RATE: $23-29.80/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone email and ticketing systems

  • Provide Tier I support for software hardware and network issues through problem diagnosis and step-by-step resolution

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams as needed

  • Assist with deployment of PCs laptops docking stations and peripheral devices

  • Perform software installations and troubleshooting

  • Install applications using Intune

  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Communicate effectively with users using appropriate written and verbal communication skills

  • Manage and maintain company IT assets

  • Assist with installation setup and maintenance of workstations printers copiers and related equipment

  • Maintain clean organized and well-managed IT storage areas

  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs; push and pull equipment carts as required

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance including full shifts and punctuality

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1 2 years of IT experience in a similar role

  • Experience working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow Freshservice Jira)

  • Experience supporting current hardware software and cloud-based applications

  • Strong experience with Windows server environments and user administration (Active Directory Exchange O365 Azure)

  • Intune experience

  • Knowledge of endpoint security solutions

  • Proficiency with Office 365 applications

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS DHCP TCP/IP)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users

  • Independent self-motivated worker who thrives in a team environment

  • Commitment to compliance and confidentiality

  • Valid drivers license

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A

  • ITIL Foundation v4 (or equivalent experience)
