About the role:

Were currently hiring a Support Services Assistant to work across our supply and theatre departments. Join our dynamic team at St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba on a permanent part time basis (25 hours per week).

As the Support Services Assistant youll be required to maintain an efficient and effective imprest to all our clinical areas by ensuring all areas have sufficient stock of the type and quantity to service their needs. You will assist in the procurement of goods and services as required in a timely and cost-effective manner and the delivery of information to all interested parties whilst providing operational support to the manager. The role will support an effective and high-quality outcome for patients and customers within other secondary allocated departments.

About the hospital:

St Vincents Private Hospital Toowoomba is an acute medical and surgical hospital that includes services such as general surgery specialist surgery such as orthopaedic vascular ENT urology plastics breast gynaecology obstetrics and oncology. The General medical service includes diabetes wound cardiology and a private emergency medicine service

Things that work for us:

  • Able to work within a team environment

  • Previous experience within a Materials Management Environment

  • Demonstrated experience in stocktake and stocktake processing with good computer literacy including stock data entry

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work on own without supervision and have the ability e to problem solve and work on solutions

  • Ability to anticipates broader implications of a course of action and plans accordingly
