Intro / Job Brief
An Account Executive is an experienced professional with demonstrable sales customer service project management and interpersonal skills. This person should perform well under deadlines and be detail- oriented as well as be experienced in meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ultimately an Account Executive should be able to complete pre-established sales initiatives to maintain and promote PFC relationships with prospects and past / current clients. Account Executives work closely with the Opportunities Team to bring new projects into the company. This role reports to the Sales Manager and is a member of the Sales Team reporting to the Director of Operations - People & Brand.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospects and past / current clients to identify their needs and secure new project opportunities.
- Convert suspects to prospects (or other appropriate marketing status) to ensure that contact data is current for future sales campaigns.
- Effectively manage in-house CRM to include proper information documentation and follow-up.
- Educate clients on PFC services in order to generate sales.
- In collaboration with the Technical Teams leaders cultivate and maintain relationships with past /current / prospective clients and foster their relationship with others in the firm via introductions setting meetings attending networking and industry events and engaging them regularly with invitations and content.
- Complete the necessary information in the Opportunities Checklist to ensure a seamless handoff to the project team.
- Conduct market research gather information and propose new contacts for future sales efforts.
- Conduct sales activities via phone calls emails meetings and events.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive growth and boost revenue.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Occasional travel; 20% of time.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field preferred or substitute relevant experience.
- 3-5 years experience in B2B sales business development events management relationship marketing or similar role.
- 3-5 years experience in client development and customer service.
- Demonstrated progression in business development skills.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently yet coordinating with a diverse team and client base.
- Minimum of 1-3 years CRM experience is preferred.
KPIs

- # of contact status changes
- # of new opportunities
- # of new projects
- # of meetings set (current and prospective decision makers)
