Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation diagnosis and medical management of patients with heart and vascular disease. This role focuses on non-invasive diagnostic testing preventive cardiology and longitudinal patient care working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based patient-centered care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
- Diagnose and treat coronary artery disease heart failure arrhythmias valvular heart disease hypertension and lipid disorders
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies including echocardiography stress testing ambulatory monitoring and cardiac imaging as applicable
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultation services and outpatient clinic care
- Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans
- Participate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with interventional cardiology electrophysiology cardiac surgery primary care and other specialists
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment plans lifestyle modification and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement patient safety and outcomes initiatives
- Supervise and educate residents fellows or advanced practice providers as applicable
- Comply with all regulatory accreditation and professional standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility

- Ability to sit stand and move throughout clinic and hospital environments
- Manual dexterity for diagnostic testing and examinations
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for interpretation of diagnostic studies
Requirements
Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
Must be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota depending on the location of the practice to which you are assigned.
