Job Description
As a Security Officer Reception Security in Hillsboro OR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will welcome visitors monitor access support badge procedures and help maintain a professional secure atmosphere. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and contractors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at the location.
- Monitor access to the facility by checking identification managing visitor logs issuing access credentials and communicating entry procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and escalate concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
- Support security-related operations by answering phones directing guests documenting activity and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Assist with emergency response activities evacuation support and other assigned duties related to front desk coverage within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
