OppCourt has grown as a founder-led business headquartered in Berlin and Amman. We are actively engaged in public-funded consultancy and capacity-building programs across the EMEA region with a focus on MENA and with established German references and entry points.
We have worked on projects in solar and renewable energy as well as related sustainability topics. Our first pillar includes business development sales and market entry support for projects and partners across Germany and the EMEA region.
In parallel we operate a second pillar focused on recruitment and talent pipelines across the same markets.
We are now building a core team and looking for 12 people who could join and actively help shape it working in one or both of the following pillars:
- Business Development & Project Execution
- Recruitment & Talent Pipelines
Tasks
- Build and manage your own business development pipeline (EMEA focus on MENA)
- Identify and develop market-entry and project opportunities
- Co-create offers and proposals with the team
- Lead execution of projects you bring in or take ownership of
- Coordinate between German clients and regional partners
- Turn ideas into concrete deliverables (partner lists pilots structures)
Requirements
Who this is for
Youre a strong fit if you:
- Have hands-on experience in business development sales or market entry (energy renewables industry public-funded projects etc.)
- Are comfortable approaching calling and building relationships and turning conversations into opportunities
- Are a good listener who learns fast tests ideas and adapts
- Think long-term are outspoken and comfortable sharing opinions
- Are motivated by partnership logic and by connecting Germany and the MENA region
Language skills
Fluent German or Arabic is ideal with very good English. Having both is a strong plus but one side is sufficient if there is genuine interest in and exposure to the other market.
Priority & openness
Priority is given to candidates who would like to build their own activity or are considering a transition and already have a relevant network in these markets and who would like to build on what has already been established in a partnership-style setup.
We are therefore open to different proposals on how such a collaboration could look and to starting a conversation around it.
That said if you are a junior profile without extensive experience but highly motivated to join and grow a business operating in the markets where we are active we are also open to discussing a setup based on motivation and potential.
