Job Summary: The Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients utilizing advanced clinical judgment to deliver safe effective and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services to cardiac ICU patients.
Perform patient assessments interventions and evaluations based on clinical condition.
Administer medications manage IV therapies and monitor patient responses.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in accordance with hospital standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU or Critical Care experience.
Proven experience with IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation.
Availability to work alternating weekends and holidays as needed.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Certifications
AHA BLS.
AHA ACLS.
License
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
