Job Summary
We have an opportunity for an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata Maryland.
APP Admitter at CRMC - La Plata MD (FT)
We have an opportunity for an experienced APP to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata Maryland. This is a full-time position.
Position Details
Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting including admitting patients performing physical exams ordering tests diagnosing performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.
Flexible block schedule
EMR: EPIC
Shift time: typically 12p 10p
Average Admits and Consults per shift: 6-8
Cross Coverage: Yes additional provider support except for 6-8p
Physician Supervision and Support: Yes remotely between 6-8p
ICU: Managed by the Intensivist
Procedures/Vents: None
Run Codes: No
Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with an active Maryland license BLS ACLS DEA and CDS License.
