DescriptionProvides leadership and oversight to the Procurement group. Provides leadership to mitigate supply risks (quality cost time flexibility capacity). Negotiates favorable terms volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers. Develops and ensures execution of staff development strategies to reduce overall procurement costs and raise the efficiency levels of purchasing activity and processes.
ResponsibilitiesDirects monitors and evaluates the activities of managers supervisors and professional employees performing Procurement activities. Directs the development recommendation and execution of applicable policies that meet strategic objectives and lead to process improvement. Monitors global Procurement practices and outcomes to identify: Cost reduction opportunities across all operations. Opportunities to improve the supply base. Provides guidance during new product launches. Identifies strategic sourcing need and provides guidance on adjustment of relevant sourcing strategies. Provides guidance to Procurement staff to ensure effective supplier selection approval development and phaseout. Manages risk identification and mitigation. Develops and recommends comprehensive strategy process and system changes to improve efficiency effectiveness and reduce costs. Leverages the knowledge and skills of managers and teams within Procurement. Manages the administration of supplier relationships. Interacts with service providers to monitor service levels and handle contractual matters.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required. Typically has 10-12 years of experience in Procurement and typically 4-6 years leadership experience. Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).
