Position Summary
The Cyber Security Engineer (TS3) will be responsible for planning implementing and managing security measures to protect Clientss systems networks and data. The role focuses on vulnerability management incident response threat detection and continuous security improvement in a highly regulated government environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan implement manage monitor and upgrade enterprise security measures.

Protect DRC data systems and networks from cyber threats.
-
Respond to security incidents breaches and vulnerabilities.
-
Conduct network and system vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
-
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans on networks servers and endpoints.
-
Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability.
-
Coordinate with IT and application teams to implement and verify fixes.
-
Tune security scans to minimize false positives and improve accuracy.
-
Develop vulnerability metrics dashboards and executive-level reports.
-
Establish and maintain security standards policies and best practices.
-
Ensure infrastructure and organizational data remain secure and compliant.
Required Qualifications

Minimum12 years of experiencein:

Network security and threat detection
-
Incident response and vulnerability management
-
Administering Qualys
-
Remediation documentation and patch management
-
Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and best practices.

Proven experience handling security incidents and system breaches.
-
Ability to work onsite in Ohio.
