Microchip is looking for a dynamic Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to help drive sales growth within a select group of major Storage Data Center and Communications OEMs located in San Jose CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilize the Microchip Sales Processes to create new engagements and drive the sales funnel to grow revenue at select target customers.
- Provide technical and business insight at every level of the customer engagement.
- The CEM owns and drives the company relationship with the assigned customer base.
- The CEM must effectively work within a team environment to successfully develop and implement sales strategies
- Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of their customers products the solutions we offer that create value to the customer the overall market competitive landscape and internal organization
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
Qualifications :
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or commensurate years of experience supporting semiconductor sales technical degree preferred
- 9 years of experience supporting datacenter or marketing experience preferred (networking server and storage hardware or datacenter)
- Prior experience managing and building partnerships at large accounts
- Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments
- Systems proficiency CRM Tableau Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint..
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills

The annual base salary range for this position which could be performed in California is $88000 - $232000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
