About the project
The Security Manager is a key member of the HC Central Cybersecurity Team operating within an
international and cross-functional environment.
The role is responsible for defining governing and advancing cybersecurity security architecture
and data security across HC ensuring a consistent and robust security posture while enabling
global business operations.
Acting as a central authority and trusted advisor the Security Manager bridges central security
governance translating security requirements into practical scalable and compliant solutions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Governance & Risk Management
- Develop maintain and enforce HC-wide cybersecurity policies standards and procedures in alignment with central directives and international best practices.
- Identify assess and manage cybersecurity risks across applications infrastructure platforms and services.
- Support risk-based decisions including deviation management residual risk evaluation and definition of mitigation measures.
Security Architecture
- Act as a central authority for security architecture within HC.
- Ensure security-by-design and security-by-default principles are applied across all IT and digital initiatives.
- Review evaluate and approve security architectures for on-premise cloud and hybrid environments.
- Define and maintain security architecture principles standards and reference models in alignment with HCs enterprise architecture.
Data Security & Protection
- Define and govern data security requirements throughout the data lifecycle.
- Ensure appropriate implementation of data classification encryption identity and access management and data loss prevention controls.
- Support compliance with data protection and privacy regulations in cooperation with legal data protection and business functions.
- Provide expert guidance on secure data architectures and international data processing scenarios.
Central & International Collaboration
- Advise IT digital and business teams on cybersecurity architecture and data security topics.
- Ensure alignment between central HC security requirements and regional implementations while considering regulatory technical and operational constraints.
- Promote best practices transparency and consistency across the global HC cybersecurity community.
Qualifications :
- University degree in Information Security Computer Science Information Technology or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity security architecture or information security management preferably in a central or international environment.
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments including cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001 NIST GDPR or comparable frameworks).
- Strong analytical and risk-oriented mindset.
- Ability to translate technical security requirements into clear business-relevant recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
- Structured independent and solution-oriented working style
- High level of integrity accountability and professionalism.
