Job Summary:

This Software Asset Management - Program Manager role is one of a small specialized team that serves as the operational backbone of the VUMC Software Store and the enterprise end-user software catalog. It functions as the primary day-to-day owner and point of contact for a highly visible service used across all VUMC divisions. The position is hands-on and execution-focused responsible for keeping the catalog accurate and compliant supporting end users coordinating with vendors and internal teams and ensuring the Software Store runs smoothly reliably addition this role delivers full software asset management lifecycle capabilities - from intake and onboarding through renewal compliance optimization and retirement. The VUMC Software Store currently supports more than 140 enterprise software products processes approximately 12000 software access requests annually manages over 1000 enterprise domain registrations oversees the enterprise SSL certificate service and administers the renewal and management of 30 enterprise software contracts. This role is essential to sustaining daily operations of a high-volume enterprise platform and directly contributes to cost control security compliance and operational efficiency across VUMCs software environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the creation coordination and execution of the Software Asset Management program.
Provides budgetary management to the program.
Provides training and guidance for individuals supporting the program.
Promotes growth and expansion of the program.

REQUIREMENTS

Software Asset Management experience

Experience with software licensing administration

Experience with software contract administration

Experience working with vendors such as: Adobe &/or Microsoft (preferred)
