Your newrole
As a Casual Support Worker you will join our team supporting people experiencing social isolation health challenges and homelessness. Working alongside a dynamic team you will engage directly with participants attending our Engagement Hub for meals providing assessment advocacy liaison crisis intervention and referral services to improve their living situation.
Your day-to-day
A typical day involves meeting new and existing participants and conducting assertive engagement on site. You will have an opportunity to provide services advocacy housing support and help people manage a crisis. You will be based at our Grey Street Engagement Hub working to build professional relationships with the 250-350 people who attend for meals each day.

Were looking for someone
- With excellent communication skills who collaborates well as part of a team.
- Experienced in working with complex participants and responding to crises or challenging behaviours
- With a background in homelessness mental health or community services
