About the Role

As a Support Worker youll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored person-centred support. Whether its daily living assistance emotional guidance or community engagement your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Key Responsibilities

Build meaningful connections with youth through mentorship and guidance.
Develop and implement engaging programs that foster personal growth.
Provide emotional support and a listening ear to help young people navigate challenges.
Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Utilise your personal experience to inspire and connect with young individuals.
Support and encourage children and young people with Dual Diagnosis including Trauma based behaviour to feel safe and secure to build trusting relationships/connections.

What youll need Childrens Services

Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
Empathetic compassionate and resilient
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Certificate IV in Disability or Child Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) clickhereto view more details
Current First Aid CPR Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain
Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts including days sleep overs weekends & public holidays
