We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Manager Logistics Operations in Morton IL.

PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts integrated logistics and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

Job Summary:

As the Manager Logistics Operations you will manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-shift inbound processing center.

• Location: Morton IL (United States)
• Work Schedule: Monday Friday (7:00 AM 3:00 PM CT)
• Required Travel: Up to 5% (Domestic)

What You Will Do:

• Managing staffing development and performance management programs for operations staff; managing motivating and developing management team.
• Overseeing operations activities ensuring that safety and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
• Driving improvements for overall operations performance and implementing safety cost and quality control mechanisms.
• Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement prioritization and project planning.

• Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.
• Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools techniques and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion goal or judgment.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):

• Distribution Center Management: Knowledge of distribution center management; ability to operate a warehouse or distribution center that handles the flow of goods from supplier to production to customer.
• Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers.
• Experience with EWM
• Experience with PowerBi
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Bachelors degree in business engineering or related fields
• Previous leader of leaders

Summary Pay Range:
