The opportunity
Events are a powerful way we connect with our adviser and industry community and this role sits right at the heart of that work.
Were looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator (Events & Community) to help plan deliver and continuously improve our event and webinar program. Youll take ownership of smaller event programs contribute to our larger flagship events and work closely with stakeholders across marketing sales and the wider business to create highquality wellexecuted experiences.
This is not a purely administrative role. Youll be trusted to manage multiple events at once work at pace and take pride in delivering outcomes with support autonomy and a clear opportunity to grow as the function continues to mature.
Key responsibilities
Plan organise and deliver events endtoend including logistics content coordination speakers merchandise and onsite execution.
Manage timelines milestones and deliverables across multiple concurrent events ensuring programs are delivered on time within budget and to brief.
Work closely with marketing sales and senior stakeholders to gather requirements align on objectives and deliver agreed outcomes.
Liaise with venues AV designers and other external suppliers including administration commercial coordination and clear communication.
Coordinate event communications including website content registrations social media postevent reporting and learnings.
Assist with the delivery of highly produced online events and webinars including speaker preparation and live facilitation.
About you
Youre someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life and seeing things through from start to finish. You like being trusted to take ownership and collaborating with people across different teams to create great outcomes.
You enjoy working with autonomy happy to roll up your sleeves and motivated to deliver thoughtful highquality work.
You dont need to have done everything before curiosity initiative and a genuine desire to learn will take you a long way in this role.
A minimum of 3 years experience supporting or delivering events with the confidence to manage smaller programs endtoend
Strong organisational and project coordination skills to keep multiple activities moving smoothly
A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders
Comfortable working with external suppliers and coordinating event logistics
A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fastmoving environment
Experience in facilitation and publicfacing activities such as webinars and briefings is beneficial
