Job Summary
The Engineering Program Manager is responsible for leading planning and coordinating engineering programs and projects across multiple teams. This role ensures timely delivery adherence to budget and alignment with organizational objectives while managing cross-functional collaboration. The position is fully remote requiring strong leadership technical understanding and project management expertise.
This position is strictly open to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.
Key Responsibilities

Plan execute and manage engineering programs ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines

Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering product design and operations

Develop project plans schedules and budgets monitoring progress against milestones

Identify risks dependencies and issues implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery

Facilitate regular project status meetings reporting updates to stakeholders and senior leadership

Drive process improvements program documentation and standardization initiatives
-
Mentor and guide team members fostering collaboration and accountability

Ensure engineering programs comply with technical standards safety requirements and regulatory guidelines

Manage resources effectively and prioritize tasks to maximize project outcomes
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field

58 years of experience in program or project management in an engineering or technical environment

Proven experience managing complex cross-functional engineering projects
-
Strong knowledge of engineering principles project management methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall)

Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency with project management tools (Jira Asana Microsoft Project or similar)

Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration or related field

PMP PgMP or other project management certification

Experience with remote engineering teams or distributed program management

Familiarity with product lifecycle management quality assurance and regulatory compliance

Experience in technology software manufacturing or aerospace industries
Compensation
-
Annual Salary Range: $110000 $150000 USD based on experience technical expertise and geographic location
