Job Description:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Graduate Sales Specialist to develop and learn about opportunities to position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice deliver strategically focused bids lead negotiations successful contract closure. This position involves working in collaboration across many stakeholders and will require excellent open and honest communication skills with a strategic mind and an ability to work with a team to meet strict deadlines.
This opportunity is great for someone who has a passion for our industry and is looking to work closely with customers and help us grow our opportunities by building new and existing relationships. You will be working closely with our Marketing and Sales Manager learning our industry-confident communication and sales techniques.
Location: Birmingham (Remote) with some travel to project sites. (Also note we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this position)
How youll make an impact
Bid Support assist in preparing bids estimates and quotations by gathering information formatting documents and helping ensure all required inputs are included. Support the team in following internal processes and governance.
Customer Interaction help maintain positive relationships with customers by supporting meetings preparing materials and responding to basic queries. Work closely with sales and bid teams to understand customer needs.
Business Insight Support the team in researching customer needs and market trends. Help identify potential opportunities and contribute ideas during team discussions.
Marketing and Sales Support assist in creating marketing materials attending industry events and collecting success stories. Help ensure plans and activities are aligned with team goals.
Your background
Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering electrical or construction
Passion for marketing and sales working with customers within our industry
Desire to learn selling solutions rather than products with a focus on winning forecast opportunities and managing large customer relationships.
Strategic thinking excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and work under pressure.
Proven skills in customer and stakeholder management problem-solving and analytical abilities.
