We are partnering with a growing private investment firm to identify an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting continued firm growth and offers meaningful exposure to fund accounting investor reporting and portfolio-level collaboration.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a lean fast-paced environment and bring strong technical accounting skills combined with a collaborative hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement packages at the fund level including allocations to Limited Partner entities
Partner with senior finance leadership and the fund administrator on period-end close and financial reporting
Coordinate year-end financial statements and audit deliverables with external auditors in accordance with SEC requirements
Collaborate with portfolio company finance leaders and external tax providers on Limited Partner and General Partner tax filings
Prepare and/or review management fee calculations and waterfall models
Prepare and/or review internal rate of return (IRR) and multiple of invested capital (MOIC) analyses
Coordinate capital calls and distributions for Limited Partners including investment funding and quarterly management fees
Respond to ad hoc analytical and reporting requests
Ensure accuracy timeliness and clarity of financial reporting
Desired Background
37 years of fund accounting experience including a foundation in public accounting
Comfortable operating in a lean high-growth environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Big 4 experience preferred
CPA preferred
