Duties:
- Schedule confirm reschedule and cancel patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency
- Answer incoming calls and electronic scheduling requests in a courteous and patient-focused manner
- Verify patient demographics and appointment requirements
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding appointment preparation arrival times and office policies
- Follow provider scheduling templates and access guidelines
- Monitor cancellations waitlists and open appointment slots to maximize provider availability
- Coordinate scheduling
- Communicate schedule changes and urgent needs to clinical and administrative staff
- Accurately enter and maintain scheduling data in the EHR and scheduling systems
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and our policies
- Adhere to established workflows customer service standards and documentation requirements
- Serve as a welcoming and professional representative of our group
- Assist with routine patient questions and escalate concerns as appropriate
- Support our mission of delivering compassionate high-quality care
- Must reside within 30 minutes or less from the office.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR systems
- Experience in a multi-provider outpatient medical practice preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification
- $17-$20/hr plus Bonuses
- Full time 4-day work week (Mon-Thursday)
