The Associate Director of Graduate Recruiting plays a key role in advancing the Goizueta Business Schools employer engagement and recruiting efforts across graduate populations e.g. MBA programs and Specialty Masters students as well as alumni populations ensuring tailored employer engagement strategies that meet the unique needs of each group. This position partners closely with account managers and employer representatives to deliver a seamless high-quality recruiting experience for both employers and students supporting in-person and virtual recruiting initiatives from planning through execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the planning and logistics of all assigned employer accounts for their on-campus and virtual recruiting events including presentations office hours and interviews.
- Reviews modifies and manages job postings for a variety of assigned industries for all Graduate populations.
- Creates new and strengthens existing employer relationships through outreach phone calls in-person meetings events and email communication in the Atlanta market as well as desired geographic locations.
- Documents all activities to ensure recruiting history is captured.
- Ensures delivery of exceptional customer service to recruiters and hiring managers which often include alumni.
- Educates students and career advisors on assigned industry and company recruiting practices. This includes giving presentations to students on the on-campus interview process marketing events through various technology platforms and answering individual student and/or advisor questions.
- Leads special projects as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
- Actively source and cultivate viable job opportunities across multiple graduate student populations including MBA and Specialty Masters programs ensuring alignment with student talent and employer needs.
- Reviews modifies and manages job postings for a variety of assigned industries for all Graduate populations.
- Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise in the graduate career services management platform (12twenty) supporting employer-facing student-facing and administrative functions.
- Provide on-site event support including evening or after-hours programs or off-site venues as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelors degree in business administration or a related field and three years of recruiting sales account development or marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated ability to learn and manage technical recruiting systems; experience with 12twenty is preferred but not required.
- Experience in proactive job sourcing and identifying employment opportunities aligned with student and employer needs is a plus.
- Experience with social media marketing and digital tools (e.g. LinkedIn Canva) is a plus.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to lead project teams while also contributing effectively as a collaborative member of the Employer Relations team.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
