The Northampton Public School is seeking a Principal for Leeds Elementary School! Start Date: July 1 2026Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. The Northampton Public Schools seeks a dynamic innovative and experienced Elementary School Principal who is a visionary and action-oriented leader to begin July 1 2026. Leeds Elementary Schools future principal will embrace the districts core educational values and create a vision for the school aligned with the Schools Improvement Plan and the Districts strategic plan. The right candidate will be committed to issues of diversity and equity have a high degree of autonomy and trust within the school can manage supervise and work alongside staff and will collaborate with educators students administrators and community members to cultivate lifelong learning in all of our students ensuring success. School Profile Leeds Elementary School serves approximately 225 students in grades PreK through 5. More than 65 faculty and staff strive to create a caring atmosphere promote high expectations and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. The right candidate must have experience working in a Title I school and a strong background in the science of reading and working with special education addition to demonstrating the administrative competencies and ensuring compliance with standards developed at the local state and federal levels the principal must uphold the following district core values:Building Communities The principal is a community-builder who fosters student engagement and agency by encouraging the use of student-centered learning experiences.
