Agency Sales Leader
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agency Sales Leader to join a well-established insurance organization in an executive-level capacity. This role is responsible for overseeing carrier relationships supporting agents and the sales team and contributing to overall agency growth and performance. The ideal candidate is a polished and dynamic leader with a strong background in insurance sales and marketing along with a proven ability to drive results mentor teams and support long-term strategic objectives.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75000 - $150000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
- Incentives: Bonus opportunities tied to growth and overall revenue performance
- Work Environment: Fully in-office role with a stable and supportive company culture
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with carriers and brokers
- Oversee and ensure compliance with carrier volume requirements
- Support personal and commercial lines producers as a sales leader and resource
- Accompany sales agents on client calls to provide expertise and guidance
- Potentially manage a personal book of business
- Contribute to the agencys leadership team including administrative responsibilities such as signing checks
- Assist in placing business and managing marketing efforts
- Drive agency growth through strategic planning and execution
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Significant experience in sales leadership within the insurance industry with a focus on personal and commercial lines
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 and ImageRight software preferred
- Location: Must be local to New Orleans and able to work in-office daily
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and polished demeanor
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
- Strategic thinker with a growth-oriented mindset
