Are you ready to step into a pivotal role at the heart of people transformation across Defence This Full-Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) post within Cyber and Specialist Operations Command (CSOC)s Unified Career Management (UCM) team offers an exciting three-year opportunity to help shape career pathways for over 5000 tri-Service personnel.

You will be working alongside a 1* two OF5s and a vibrant team of around 50 Whole Force colleagues delivering career management HR policy promotions and workforce planning across a range of specialist cohorts.

What You Will Do

In this varied and rewarding role you will:

  • Be the central business coordinator for the UCM team tracking outputs ensuring coherence and supporting strategic delivery.
  • Manage the UCM personnel (J1) plot liaising with all three Services to support succession planning and accurate workforce reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the CSOC People Team and wider HQ.
  • Support the UCM leadership with planning data requests and wider career management activities.
  • Engage directly with key stakeholders across Cyber Defence Medical Services and Defence Intelligence to deliver against UCM outputs.
  • Support the Chief of Staff (COS) with internal management issues such as Service Complaints and subject access requests.
  • Oversee recruitment across both Civil Service and FTRS positions working closely with CSOC.
  • Line manage civil servants within the iHub.
