JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to drive the development of Ohio CATs rental services business. As Ohio CAT continues to grow their rental businesses we will face different sets of challenges which will require different types of support. This position will identify areas of improving operations and maximizing profitability while providing the highest standard of customer service. To be effective an Assistant Rental Store Manager must be willing to accept and drive change. The Assistant Rental Store Manager must establish an understanding of the following objectives and accountabilities: Open the location for business before hours of operation each day. (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Assist Rental Store Manager with communication and follow up on equipment needs between Rental Coordinators and shop utilizing the service queue and link ANSI report monitoring to provide jobsite contact information for field inspections scheduling swap outs as needed assisting Rental Store Manager with COD/Dispute settlement and damage recovery efforts as well as assisting with inventory reconciliation.

COMPETENCIES:

Must be a leader with excellent people skills and an enthusiastic personality.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Can teach job responsibilities and train.
Strong Organizational skills and ability to coordinate programs and logistics associated with the programs.
Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Three to five years in the rental industry or equivalent (construction engineering and equipment distribution) preferred.
Previous key business management experience preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of the start-up procedures for a rental store and working knowledge of operations sales service and systems.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop bend kneel crouch reach and twist; to lift carry push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
