What Youll Do:
The Education Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organizations educational services are compliant with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) regulations licensing standards and federal/state education laws. This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality educational programming compliance monitoring and advocacy for students educational rights. The specialist works closely with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) facility leadership educators and families to support student success and smooth educational transitions.
Qualifications
Education AND Experience
- Bachelors degree in Education Special Education or related field (Masters Degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NC DPI regulations IDEA Section 504 and FAPE requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in educational compliance special education services or program administration preferred.
- Experience working with LEAs multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies.
- Valid NC Drivers License
