Senior Payroll Specialist - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

The Senior Payroll Specialist is an experienced handson payroll professional to execute and support payroll processes for Poland (primary) and France (secondary) and to provide ad hoc support for other European payrolls.
This role focuses on accurate compliant and timely payroll processing issue resolution reconciliations and strong operational documentation while partnering with local payroll vendors external providers and crossfunctional teams.
This is a twelve months fixed term contract.
Hiring details:
- This requisition is for a locally hired position in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
- This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some workonsite at Gdansk Warsaw or Rzeszow office. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee endtoend Poland payroll runs ensuring accuracy and timely delivery; provide direct support or validation for France payroll runs as required.
- Manage prepayroll validations data cleansing and exception handling to minimize rework for Poland and France payroll cycles together with TCS.
- Reconcile payroll outputs investigate postpayroll discrepancies perform rootcause analysis and implement corrective actions across supported countries.
- Coordinate with local and global payroll vendors (e.g. CloudPay TCS local Polish/French vendors) and internal platform owners (WorkdayServiceNow) for integration issues configuration clarifications and incident resolution.
- Maintain and update detailed countryspecific payroll process documentation and transactionlevel work instructions in Polish (and French when applicable).
- Support testing and deployment of payroll system changes patches and enhancements; validate results and document outcomes for Poland and France.
- Produce regular payroll reports and support KPI tracking; escalate trends countryspecific risks and compliance issues to the manager.
- Support onboarding and training of vendor payroll teams (e.g. TCS) and act as a subject matter resource for payroll queries in Polish and where possible French.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations tax rules and statutory reporting requirements for Poland and assist with France statutory needs where involved.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives suggest automation opportunities and strengthen controls for multicountry payroll processing.
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Poland payroll legislation social security taxes and statutory filings mandatory.
- Familiarity with French payroll concepts and statutory requirements preferred.
- Handson experience with global payroll platforms and integration tools; familiarity withCloudPayWorkdayandServiceNowadvantageous.
- Solid skills in grosstonet calculations benefits deductions offcycle payments and corrective payroll actions across European pay rules.
- Proficient in postpayroll reconciliation troubleshooting and analytical rootcause techniques for complex exceptions.
- Understanding of upstream HR data flows (time & attendance benefits HRIS) and downstream integrations to finance and statutory reporting.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to extract manipulate and present payroll data.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance HR Business or related field.
- 47 years handson payroll experience with demonstrated experience supporting Poland payroll (inhouse or vendor).
- Practical experience with at least one global payroll platform and vendormanaged payroll environments.
- Prior exposure to payroll reconciliations statutory compliance and payroll reporting for other European countries.
- Fluency in Polish (spoken and written).

- Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
