The Intern Warehouse Coordinator will support the Project Leaders with productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. Functions will include assisting inventory team & investigating claims proof ofdelivery& manifestrequests. The intern will work with the planning team toidentifyrisks and find solutions to minimizeit.The intern will coordinate with carriers and assist the shipping office to optimize warehouse resources.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...
Assist with the Inventory Management System and the IC team. Gain hands on experience with the flow of goods and the importance ofaccurateinventory records.
Learn andassistin the Day-to Day operations alongside our Warehouse Supervisors. Develop a practical understanding of warehouselogisticsand operational best practices.
Analyze current workflowsidentifyareas for efficiency gains and collaborate with both the Inventory and Warehouse Supervisor teams to implement solutions.
Ad-hoc requests and Special Projects.
YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU...
Currentlypursuinga Certificate Bachelor orMasters Degree in Business Logistics Supply ChainInventoryor relatedfield;
Havepreviousrelated internship experience (an asset);
Are detail-oriented analyticalself-motivatedand willing to takeinitiative;
Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners quickly buildingrelationships;
Experience in food manufacturing health & safety (an asset);
Advancedproficiencyin Excel (Formulas macros power queries etc.);
Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all whileensuring to meetdeadlines.
