The Boeing CompanyBoeing Supply Chain is currently looking for an Experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Long Beach CA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs defined data analytics tasks to meet business objectives.
Applies standard methods and algorithms validates results and performs necessary data preparation steps.
Creation and maintenance of analysis conducted in R environment requiring understanding of R programming language.
Develops Tableau dashboards requiring experience in SQL coding.
Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers stakeholders peers and direct reports
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team. Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelors degree or higher
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data analytics
Minimum of 3 years experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality delivery
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
R Programming language experience
SQL coding experience
Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience
Conflict of Interest:
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Travel:
This position may require traveling up to 10% of the time.
