Job Summary
Participate in the planning and development of high-throughput screening using the Tecan liquid handler to optimize large molecule purifications
- Develop and optimize protocols for the Tecan liquid handler within the context of high throughput samples purification and buffer condition screenings
- Execute design of experiments (DOEs) runs to improve current purification initiatives
- Execute multi-variable buffer screening experiments to identify optimal buffer conditions for various large molecules
- Operate various chromatography instruments (Akta Avant FPLC Tecan Evo Tecan Fluent)
- Troubleshooting various chromatography instruments
- Oversee preventative maintenance of chromatography instruments
- Schedule vendor maintenance of chromatography instruments
- Responsible for planning and organizing materials for executing purification experiments
- Buffer lab supplies ordering and inventory management
- Setting up/organizing necessary materials for operations
- Assist with authoring process documentation work instructions and technical reports
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Experience with Tecan liquid handlers AKTA Avant FPLC
- Effective communication and collaboration across multiple scientific teams and departments
- Collaborate/communicate with various project areas to ensure readiness and availability of samples for processing
- Excellent interpersonal organizational verbal and written communication skills are required
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern PA are encouraged to apply.
