About this position The Echocardiography Technologist works closely with the cardiologist in the assessment and treatment of cardiac diseases in our Accredited Echo Lab which includes outpatients off-campus sites & inpatients with hospital coverage on-call after hours weekends and holidays. Diagnostic Ultrasound testing includes m-mode 2D 3D spectral Doppler color Doppler tissue Doppler imaging strain imaging bubble studies contrast-enhanced transthoracic echocardiograms exercise & pharmacology stress echocardiograms imaging for structural heart procedures and assist the cardiologist with both 2D & 3D transesophageal echocardiograms. Requirements Education Graduate with an associates or bachelors degree from an accredited echocardiography program Experience At least 1 year of previous experience is preferred Licensure/Certification Registered or Registry eligible: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography is required.
