Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Ortho / Neuro Trauma (Night Shift)
Location: Kansas City MO 64132
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Range: $35.65 $47.64 (based on experience)
Night & Weekend Differential: $4.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide frontline clinical leadership for a high-acuity Ortho / Neuro / Trauma Med-Surg unit. This role combines hands-on patient care with charge-level coordination to ensure exceptional patient outcomes operational efficiency and staff support during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care during assigned shifts
Support admissions discharges and throughput to ensure safe and efficient transitions
Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for bedside nursing staff
Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery in alignment with quality and safety standards
Promote a patient-first culture and support service recovery when needed
Assist with staffing adjustments based on census and acuity
Support staff development coaching and onboarding
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and engagement
Oversee supply utilization and equipment management
Required Qualifications
Current acute-care Med-Surg RN experience (Required)
Preferred: Charge RN experience in acute Med-Surg
OR Minimum 2 years of recent bedside Med-Surg RN experience (must be current)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or Compact)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN preferred
BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
ACLS required within 30 days of hire
Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volume and acuity
Strong leadership communication and teamwork skills
