Job Title: Graduate Trainee Program Functional
Location: Johannesburg
The Graduate Trainee Functional role aims to build well-rounded future professionals by providing structured exposure across Finance and key business functions including Regulatory Affairs Supply Chain and Commercial Operations. The role supports financial governance operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration while developing strong analytical business and compliance capabilities.
Responsabilities
Finance Core Responsibilities
Support preparation of monthly financial reports management dashboards and variance analyses.
Assist with budgeting forecasting and cost tracking activities.
Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in monitoring sales deductions accruals and invoice processing.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Support adherence to financial policies internal controls and audit requirements.
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Rotational Assignments (Cross-Functional Exposure)
Regulatory Affairs Rotation
Support documentation and tracking of product registrations and regulatory submissions.
Assist with maintaining regulatory databases and compliance trackers.
Gain exposure to South African health authority requirements and internal compliance processes.
Supply Chain Rotation
Support demand planning and forecasting activities.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels stock availability and expiry risks.
Gain exposure to logistics coordination order management and distributor supply processes.
Additional Functional Exposure
Participate in short-term projects within Commercial Operations HR or Quality as part of the graduate development plan.
Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes and efficiencies.
Ensure 100% compliance with company legal and compliance policies and in adherence with country laws and regulations.
Consistently have an integrated dermatology strategy mindset and utilize in day to day roles & responsibilities in current role - for self and team.
Qualifications & Skills
South African citizen or eligible to work in South Africa (Employment Equity)
01 year of experience; internships or vacation work advantageous
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Supply Chain Business or related field.
Strong analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders.
Strong Excel skills; Power BI or ERP exposure is an advantage.
Curiosity adaptability and willingness to learn across disciplines.
