What youll do

• You will report to the Corporate IT Manager
• Support delivery quality forPower Apps / Power Automate and related integration services by designing and executing test scenarios logging clear defects and contributing to basic test automation.
• Work closely with developers Product Owners and senior testers to ensure that changes released toDev Test UAT and Prodare stable reliable and aligned with business requirements.

Test Design & Execution

• Analyze and understand user stories acceptance criteria and system requirements for Dynamics 365 or Power Apps / Power Automate solutions and supporting services.
• Designtest conditions test cases and test datafor: Functional integration regression and basic usability testing. Power Apps forms workflows and Power Automate flows. Key integrations (e.g. Dynamics 365 Power Apps backend APIs).
• Execute tests inDev / Test / UATenvironments recording actual results and deviations clearly.
• Support regression test cycles for releases ensuring previously working functionality remains stable.

Defect Management & Troubleshooting

• Logclear reproducible defectsin tools such asAzure DevOps including steps to reproduce expected vs. actual results screenshots and environment details.
• Work withdevelopers BAs/POs and senior QAto:

Triage and prioritize defects.

Re-test fixes and confirm closure.

• Assist in basic root cause analysis by gathering logs data samples or screenshots as guided by senior team members.

Automation CI/CD & Quality Practices

• Contribute tobasic test automationfor UI or API tests under guidance (e.g. data-driven tests smoke/regression suites).
• Help maintain and run automated tests as part ofCI/CD pipelinesfor Power Platform solutions.
• Follow CSGtesting standards coding guidelines for test scripts and security/privacy practicesin test data usage.

Environment Data & Documentation

• Maintain and refreshtest datain non-production environments as per agreed guidelines.
• Document: Test plans test cases and test results. Simple runbooks/checklists for recurring test activities and smoke checks.
• Supportrelease readiness checks(e.g. test signoffs defect summaries known issues list) for deployments to UAT and Prod.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with:

QA leads / senior Test Engineersfor prioritization approach and quality gates.

Developers and BAs/POsto clarify requirements edge cases and acceptance criteria.

Platform and operations teamson environment readiness access and basic troubleshooting.

• Participate indaily stand-ups refinement and review/demo sessionsacross US/EMEA time zones as required.

• South African Citizen
• CV Academic Transcript South African ID Matric Certificate
• Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Software Development Software Engineering
• Exposure to testingweb applications APIs or enterprise systems(university projects internships or training) is preferred
• BasicSQLfor data validation and test data setup.
• Experience with software platforms tools or systems
• Strongattention to detailand a structured analytical mindset.
• Clearwritten and verbal communicationto describe issues risks and test outcomes to:
  • Business stakeholders and Product Owners
  • Developers and platform/operations teams
• Demonstrated:
  • Collaborationin team environments
  • Learning mindset openness to feedback curiosity about systems and willingness to pick up new tools and domains.
  • Ownershipof assigned test areas from planning through execution and re-test escalating risks when needed.

Preferred

Nice to have (or willingness to learn):

• Power Platform(Power Apps Power Automate) basics.
• Dynamics 365 Sales/CE concepts relevant to PowerApps and related apps.
• Basic scripting/programming knowledge inC# Java Python or JavaScriptfor test automation.
• Testing ofREST APIsusing tools such as Postman or equivalent.
