Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is hiring for aNon CDL Truck Driver IIfor ourRomulus MIfacility.

Join our team and earn$22.00per hour!

Shift: 7:00pm - 3:00am M-F

You are:

Performance driven individual who is committed toprovideinnovative service to our clients. You are approachable andrelationship-orientedas you contribute to PitneyBowessuccess.

Responsible for picking up and delivering mail from our customers

Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications and USPS regulations

Ensure that the mail is reviewed for proper dates presort slugs and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading the truck

Perform warehouse duties including wrapping pallets stackingtraysand loading trucks

Maintain daily drivers log for mileage and cargo

Maintain documentation for customer pickups such as collecting signatures and tracking/documenting mail counts andassistingwith mail related questions

Keep vehicle productionfloorand area clean

Other duties as assigned

As a Non CDL Driver you have:

Must be minimum 21 years in age

Valid state motor vehicle operators license (State in which driverresides)

Ability to drive a Straight Truck up to 26000 GVWR

Must have a minimum of six months verifiable driving experience in similar sized vehicles (i.e.straight truck) within the last 3 years with a safe driving record

Basic Computer skills and ability to read a map and understand directions

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. walk standstoopand bend with or without accommodations

Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice

Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with thegeneral public to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records

Must be flexible andhave the ability tocome in early or work later if someone calls off or is on vacation

For completing this work Presort Servicesreceivesdiscounted postage rates.By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients weare able toshare a portion of that discount with them. We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network providingoptimalpostage savings.
