Position Summary
You will lead a small production team to deliver safe compliant and reliable manufacturing every day. You will coach operators solve operational problems and keep processes in control. You will work closely with Quality Engineering Planning and EHS colleagues to remove barriers and improve performance. Job Title - Executive/Assistant Manager-Production
Job Purpose
The purpose of the First Line Leader role is To develop and enable a first touch team of operators to consistently deliver outstanding safety quality service and value to the person at the end of our supply chain. The role has a direct hour by hour impact on the ambition of the GMS Strategy to achieve the three zeros on Accidents Defects and Waste.
First Line Leader role is required to focus a minimum of 70% of their time on the shop-floor.
