The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our Final Assembly and Delivery team in North Charleston South Carolina.
Youll lead and develop a high-performing team of Quality Engineers who ensure our aircraft meet the highest safety quality and producibility standards. This role requires people leadership technical oversight and cross-functional partnership across the production value stream. We are seeking a highly motivated people focused and technically oriented engineering manager who has experience working in Boeings Quality Management and Production Systems and possesses an unwavering commitment to quality and compliance.
This leader will be embedded in the Final Assembly and Delivery production support ecosystem and must partner with all other organizations in the value stream. We are looking for a leader who can communicate effectively with team members at all levels and foster a collaborative environment that drives continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor Quality Engineers supporting 787 Final Assembly & Delivery
Plan resourcing and professional development to ensure team readiness and proficiency
Approve and advise on conformance changes to engineering/build plans to maintain producibility and compliance
Track and manage team performance against Safety and Quality Plan objectives (e.g. IP Simplification DBAs)
Lead quality improvement and structured problem-solving initiatives (RCCA or equivalent)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering
5 years experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or another regulated industry
5 years experience writing technical documentation
5 years of experience collecting organizing and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions
5 years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
ABET-accredited engineering degree
Experience in Boeing Quality Quality Engineering or Production Engineering organizations
Experience working in integrated multi-discipline engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems using diverse approaches
Strong collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
