Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with contract plans specifications and applicable federal standards.
  
• Monitor contractor performance and identify deficiencies nonconforming work and potential quality issues.
  
• Prepare daily inspection reports field documentation and photographic records.
  
• Coordinate with government representatives contractors and project stakeholders.
  
• Review contractor submittals testing results and construction documentation.
  
• Assist in resolving field construction issues and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  

Design and Technical Oversight:

• Review construction drawings specifications and technical submittals.
  
• Verify materials installation methods and workmanship meet project requirements.
  
• Identify potential engineering issues and communicate findings to project leadership.
  
• Support technical evaluations of construction methods and implementation.
  

Construction and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct field inspections of civil works construction including earthwork concrete structural components utilities and infrastructure systems.
  
• Verify materials testing and inspection procedures meet contract specifications.
  
• Monitor contractor quality control programs and compliance with approved QC plans.
  
• Maintain detailed quality assurance records and documentation.
  

Project and Field Support:

• Provide on-site technical support to the Government Resident Office.
  
• Participate in project coordination meetings and construction progress reviews.
  
• Support project documentation reporting and compliance requirements.
  
• Maintain communication with project engineers and government representatives.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Engineering Technology or related technical discipline preferred.
  
• Minimum five (5) years of construction inspection or quality assurance experience.
  
• Experience interpreting construction plans drawings and technical specifications.
  
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  
• Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects.
  
• Familiarity with RMS (Resident Management System).
  
• Experience in civil works flood control reservoirs water resources or military construction.
  
• Certifications such as Construction Quality Management (CQM) NICET OSHA 30 or equivalent.
