Reports to: Regional Operations Manager
Location: Leeds
Role Type: Full-time Monday - Friday (9am-5pm)


About the role
Were looking for a hands-on Depot Operations Lead to run day-to-day depot operations and lead a high-performing workshop team. Youll be responsible for fleet readiness staff performance safety and operational standards - making sure the depot runs efficiently and supports excellent service delivery in the field.


Working closely with senior operations and on-street teams youll also play a key role in process improvement performance reporting and maintaining a strong working relationship with the client.


What youll be doing

  • Lead and manage depot and workshop teams including mechanics and support staff
  • Ensure high productivity quality repairs and fleet readiness
  • Manage rotas stock tools and depot assets
  • Own health & safety compliance toolbox talks and safety checks
  • Track performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Support client reporting and contribute to monthly performance reviews
  • Recruit onboard train and develop team members
  • Act as the escalation point for depot-based issues
