Automation Test Lead

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: September 30 2026
Work set up: Mainly remote with occasional travel (SC clearance)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Automation Test Lead to design implement and evolve automation testing strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals. This role acts as a subject matter expert in automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca ensuring quality is embedded across the software development lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers testers analysts and architects. The position requires strong stakeholder management a strategic mindset and the ability to align testing efforts with broader business objectives.

What you will do:

• Design and implement effective automation test strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Create and adapt automation frameworks to support evolving project needs.
• Lead the development and maintenance of automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution and optimization of automation testing practices.
• Align testing efforts with business objectives through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Support functional and automation testing across web API platforms and ERP systems such as SAP S4/Hana.
• Utilize test management tools such as Jira to track and manage testing activities.

Qualifications :

• Expert-level experience with Tricentis Tosca automation tooling.
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#.
• Experience working with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience in functional and automation testing across web API and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in continuous testing and test optimization practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing with business objectives.
• SC clearance with dual passport one being UK.
• Willingness to undergo additional vetting as required.
