How You Will Make an Impact
Frida is seeking a strategic and experienced contract Director of International Fulfillment to lead operations across the EU and UK. This role is responsible for ensuring a 95% OTIF rate while managing performance and accountability with our Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). The Director will oversee warehouse operations and kitting activities ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards and driving continuous optimization in efficiency cost and capacity. They will own Opex budgets lead monthly business reviews and resolve operational issues with urgency. Working cross-functionally and globally this leader will shape the future of Fridas fulfillment network while delivering scalable compliant and customer-focused solutions.
Responsibilities to include:
- LSP Management and Fulfillment Operations
- Act as the primary liaison with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) across the EU and UK driving performance accountability and operational excellence.
- Oversee fulfillment execution across service levels throughput inventory accuracy kitting quality and cost performance.
- Ensure all kitting operations meet regulatory requirements including compliance with ISO 13485 standards to safeguard product quality and patient safety.
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with LSPs to assess performance address escalations and implement corrective action plans.
- Build strong strategic partnerships with LSPs to support continuous improvement innovation and scalable growth.
- Warehouse Optimization
- Monitor daily warehouse operations with a focus on throughput capacity management and operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvements in warehouse design layout and space utilization to reduce cost per order and improve productivity.
- Implement automation and lean practices to enhance fulfillment kitting and inventory management performance.
- Maintain operational contractual and business KPIs and leverage data analytics to identify root causes trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that product flow cycle times and inventory control consistently meet Fridas quality and service standards.
- Financial Accountability
- Develop manage and oversee Opex budgets across international fulfillment sites.
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting variance reporting and monthly budget reviews.
- Track operational costs at a granular level and recommend cost-optimization strategies.
- Hold LSPs accountable for cost adherence while balancing service quality and compliance commitments.
- Deliver clear reporting and insights to leadership on budget performance and opportunities for savings.
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales Supply Chain and Customer Service to align order prioritization and resolve fulfillment challenges.
- Lead capacity planning and develop strategies to support growth across existing and new fulfillment sites.
- Partner with VP to design the future layout of Fridas international fulfillment network.
- Ensure full compliance with international regulations including import/export customs OTC and health & safety standards.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership influencing long-term operational strategy and investment decisions.
What You Will Need
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in fulfillment logistics or supply chain management with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing international operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale multi-country fulfillment and distribution networks.
- Strong knowledge of global logistics supply chain optimization and inventory management practices.
- Expertise in using fulfillment and logistics management software including WMS TMS and ERP systems.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive data-driven decision making and operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of managing third-party logistics providers and international vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations customs compliance and global shipping practices.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
