Job Summary

Job Description:

Experience:

Minimum 15-18 years of industry experience in software engineering with at least 7 years in managerial roles overseeing teams and projects.
Experience leading end to end delivery meeting account objectives managing Application outsourcing Managed Services engagement for large Insurance (Life & Annuity) clients.
Manages business development identifies and develops new opportunities
Manages project financials
Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale software development projects with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications:

Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal as well as written) collaboration and team leadership abilities with demonstrated success in managing diverse engineering teams.
Project Management: Expertise in managing software projects including resource planning timeline tracking and risk mitigation.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Japanese Insurance market/domain particularly Annuity products.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as LOMA PMP Scrum Master or technical certifications are highly desirable.

Estimation and Planning: Drive accurate project estimations including effort timeline and resource planning ensuring realistic project commitments and on-time delivery.

Customer Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their queries and ensuring high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Expertise:

Hands-on Experience with Micro Focus tools and COBOL JCL DB2 for UDB
Strong programming debugging and problem-solving skills.
Product Knowledge: Experience with Vantage and wmA products is a significant advantage.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to maintain high standards of code quality design and technical excellence.

Mentorship and Development:

Provide mentorship and guidance to team members conduct regular one-on-one meetings and drive performance assessments and career development planning.
Supporting BA team in query resolution & defect analysis.
Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the team encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.
