Duties:

Planandexecuterisk-basedITauditsinlinewiththeannualauditstrategy.
ReviewITgeneralcontrolsincludingaccessmanagementchangeprocessesoperationsandbackup/recoveryprocedures.
EvaluateapplicationcontrolsacrosskeybusinesssystemssuchasERPHRFinanceandcustomapplications.
IdentifyanddocumentITrisksandcontrolweaknessesrecommendingactionablesolutionstostrengthencontrols.
Conductauditsfollowinginternalmethodologyandinternationalstandards(IIA/ISACA)andcommunicatefindingstoseniormanagement.
Provideguidanceonsystemimplementationsmigrationsandcontroldesignwhilekeepingupwithemergingtechnologyandcybersecuritytrends.
LeadmentoranddevelopjuniorITauditstaffcontributingtoauditprogramenhancementsandbestpractices
Gain a deep understanding of IT operations and how they support overall business objectives.

JobExperience&SkillsRequired:

Qualifications:

Matric(Grade12)
BachelorsdegreeininformationtechnologyComputerScienceInformationSystemsorarelateddiscipline.
CA(SA)designation(required)
CertifiedInformationSystemsAuditor(CISA)mandatory.
IT or audit certifications such as CRISC CGEIT or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Experience:

5-7yearsofhands-onexperienceinITAuditITRiskorITAssuranceroles.
StrongpracticalexperienceinIToperationsincludingsystemadministrationnetworkmanagementbackup/recoveryandchangemanagement.
DeepunderstandingofITGeneralControls(ITGCs)ApplicationControlsandSystemImplementationReviews.
ExperienceauditingERPsystemssuchasSAPOracleSysproSageorMicrosoftDynamics.
FamiliaritywithITframeworksandstandardsincludingCOBITISO27001NISTandITIL.
Exposure to cybersecurity assessments data analytics and cloud-based environments is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

ComprehensiveknowledgeofIToperationsincludingnetworkinfrastructuredatabasesandoperatingsystems(WindowsLinuxSQL).
ProficientindataanalysisandauditautomationusingtoolssuchasACLIDEAPowerBIorExcel.
Goodunderstandingofcybersecurityprinciplesaccessmanagementandthesystemdevelopmentlifecycle(SDLC).
Stronganalyticalthinkingandproblem-solvingabilities.
Excellentreportwritingpresentationandcommunicationskills.
Abilitytomanagemultipleprojectssimultaneouslyandmeettightdeadlines.
