Job Description:

The Business Analyst Enterprise Analytics is responsible for providing analytics and reporting support for Greifs enterprise-wide analytics platforms. This role acts as a primary support contact for business users assisting with reporting data interpretation issue resolution and report development activities.

This position is based in India supporting IT teams and business stakeholders located in the United States and EMEA regions. The role requires the ability to work during hours that partially or fully overlap with the US Eastern Time Zone to ensure effective collaboration support continuity and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Enterprise Analytics users addressing inquiries related to reports dashboards and data across global regions.
  • Respond to support requests via ticketing systems email and virtual collaboration tools in accordance with defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Clearly explain reports KPIs and data concepts to business users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Troubleshoot reporting and data issues perform root cause analysis and coordinate with Data Engineering Analytics and IT support teams for resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with US- and EMEA-based stakeholders including regular interaction during overlapping working hours with the US Eastern Time Zone to gather reporting requirements and clarify business needs.
  • Develop modify and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI and other enterprise reporting tools.
  • Support user enablement through virtual training sessions user guides and knowledge documentation.
  • Gain working knowledge of enterprise data architecture ETL processes data orchestration and data models to effectively support analytics solutions.
  • Document recurring issues standard operating procedures and support processes to enable scalable and consistent global support.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Business Analytics or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in analytics support business intelligence IT support or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI Power Pivot Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Exposure to ETL concepts data modeling relational databases and SQL is preferred.
  • Experience supporting global stakeholders or working in an offshore delivery environment is highly desirable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and process-driven environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules including partial or full overlap with US Eastern Time Zone working hours on a regular basis.
