Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.


Job Description Summary:


Provides oversight of Sports Medicine clinical operations and related personnel. Coordinates clinical services for Sports Medicine patients throughout the NCH system designs and maintains of administrative reports and oversees program budget. Adheres to regulatory standards performs staff supervision development and mentorship and fosters relationships and collaboration with hospital departments to maintain high quality patient care.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Provides talent management including hiring onboarding supervision mentorship and performance appraisal of new and existing staff.
  • Manages all clinic operations including process efficiency best practices customer service safety and quality patient and family centered care.
  • Provides template development and maintenance coordination of appropriate staffing and quality service delivery.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance hospital and departmental policy and procedures implementation and quality initiatives adherence and auditing.
  • Maintains existing clinical programs and develops new clinical initiatives.
  • Participates and represents on hospital committees to promote interdepartmental collaboration.

Education Requirement:

Bachelors degree in athletic training or closely related field required.

Masters Degree highly preferred.


Licensure Requirement:

Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Ohio required.


Certifications:

BOC Certification required.

CPR Certification required.


Skills:

Advancedcommunication collaboration and leadership skills.


Experience:

Five years of clinical experience with supervisory and leadership responsibility required.
