Job Summary

We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian in Havlock NC. You will play a key role in managing emergency cases performing surgeries and providing high-quality care in critical situations. You will work with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pets in need of urgent attention. This role is ideal for a veterinarian with experience in emergency care and a passion for making a difference during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emergency medical and surgical care for critically ill or injured animals.
Perform emergency diagnostics including radiography ultrasound and laboratory testing.
Administer anesthesia and perform emergency surgeries as needed.
Provide stabilization and life-saving care for patients in critical condition.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment options and prognosis.
Work closely with a team of veterinarians technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive emergency care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Stay up to date with current emergency veterinary practices and procedures.

What Were Looking For:

DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in emergency or critical care veterinary medicine is preferred but new graduates with a strong background in emergency care may be considered.
Strong diagnostic surgical and emergency care skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
